Smartum
Setting up Smartum sport and culture benefits as a payment method at checkout. Works in EUR currency in Finland.
Setup
You need a service provider agreement with Smartum. Currently supported categories are sport and culture. You can become a service provider at smartum.fi/kumppaneille.
1. Get your Venue ID
Log in to the Smartum extranet and go to Online payment — you will find your Venue ID at extranet.smartum.fi/online-payment. If needed, contact Smartum customer support: kumppanit@smartum.fi.
2. Connect your Stripe account to Smartum (optional)
By connecting your Stripe account to Smartum at stripe-connect.smartum.fi, you allow the customer to pay the remaining balance by card if the Smartum balance is not enough to cover the full purchase. After connecting, you will receive your Stripe Account ID.
3. Enter credentials in payment settings

| Venue ID | The venue identifier issued by Smartum. Found in the Smartum extranet under Online payment. |
| Stripe Account ID | Optional. Only needed if you want to support partial payment through Smartum's Stripe integration. You receive this after connecting your Stripe account to Smartum at stripe-connect.smartum.fi. |
| Enable payment method | Activates Smartum payment at checkout. |
Smartum payment is only available for products that have the Allow payment with employee benefits setting enabled. Remember to activate it in the product settings.
