User Settings
Personal settings, password, and two-factor authentication. They are the same across all organisations you belong to — access them by clicking your profile in the dashboard sidebar.
Profile
The profile section shows the email address linked to your account and its verification status. If the email has not been verified, you can resend the verification email from the profile section.
Changing Your Email Address
You can change your account's email address by entering a new address and saving the change. A confirmation link is sent to the new address, and the change only takes effect after confirming.
Password
The password section has two different views depending on how you are signed in:
- Change password — shown if the account already has a password. Requires entering the current password before setting a new one. You can also optionally sign out all other active sessions when changing the password.
- Set password — shown if you signed in only with Google and the account does not yet have a password. Allows adding password sign-in to the account.
Connected Accounts
In the Connected Accounts section you can link your Google account to your user account or remove the connection. Removing the Google connection is not possible if it is the only sign-in method and the account has no password — set a password first.
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. It is based on the TOTP method (Time-based One-Time Password), supported by apps such as Google Authenticator and Authy.
Setup
- 1Open user settings and click Enable next to two-factor authentication.
- 2Enter your account password to confirm.
- 3Scan the QR code with your authenticator app or enter the secret key manually.
- 4Enter the six-digit code shown by the app to confirm the connection works.
- 5Save the backup codes in a safe place — they are one-time use and you will need them if you cannot access your authenticator app.
Backup Codes
Backup codes allow you to sign in when the authenticator app is not available. Each code can only be used once. You can generate new backup codes in user settings — this invalidates the old codes.
Disabling
You can disable two-factor authentication in user settings. Your account password is required to confirm.
