Billing Form
In the billing form settings you define what information is collected from the customer at checkout and how the fields are presented.
Fields
The following fields are always visible and cannot be hidden:

| The customer's email address. Required. | |
| Country | The customer's country. Affects currency and VAT calculation. Required. |
| State / region | Shown for countries where the region affects taxation (e.g. USA). Required when visible. |
The following fields are optional — you can choose whether they are shown at all, and if shown, whether the field is required or optional. Field-level settings can also be overridden per product in the product's Customize form fields settings.

Field Descriptions
An optional description text can be added to each field, shown to the customer below the field at checkout. The text is localizable for all languages supported by the checkout.
If you use the customer's email address for marketing, disclose this in the email field description text in accordance with GDPR requirements. Example: "Your email address serves as your username. We also share information about similar products from our company. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time."
