Members and Permissions
Invite team members and manage access permissions.
Organization Roles
Every member has an organization-level role that defines what they can do across the organization:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Has full control over the organization, including settings, billing, members, and checkouts. |
| Admin | Manages members and checkouts within the organization but cannot control owners or delete the organization. |
| Member | Has basic access to view and collaborate within the organization. Access to individual checkouts is granted per checkout. |
Owners and Admins automatically receive the Admin checkout role on every checkout in the organization, including any new checkouts that are created later. You do not need to invite them to each checkout individually. If you need an Owner or Admin to lose access to a specific checkout, the row can be removed manually via Edit Checkout Access.
Checkout Roles
In addition to the organization role, each member can be given access to specific checkouts with a checkout-level role. Owners and Admins always start with the Admin role on every checkout via the rule above; other members are granted access individually.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access to edit all checkout settings. |
| Maintainer | Access to maintain all checkout data. |
| Viewer | Can only view checkout details and data without making changes. |
| Customer Service | Can only see the order management view. Can refund, complete, and rerun actions on orders. |
Members Tab
The members table shows all current organization members with their email address, organization role, and checkout access. From here you can:
- Click the role badge next to a member to open Edit Member Role and change their organization role.
- Click the checkout list next to a member to open Edit Checkout Access and add or remove checkout access.
- Select one or more members and click Delete to remove them from the organization.
Inviting Members
Click Invite Members to open the invitation dialog. You can invite multiple people at once by adding their email addresses. All invitees will receive the same organization role and checkout access settings — these can be changed individually after joining.
Invitation settings:
- Email — add one or more email addresses; click Add More to add additional fields
- Role — the organization role assigned to all invitees
- Checkout Access — optionally grant access to one or more checkouts; select a checkout and assign a checkout role for each
Click Send Invitations to send the invites.
Pending Invitations Tab
The Pending Invitations tab lists invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted. You can delete a pending invitation to cancel it before the recipient accepts.
